Practice Management

Mr Ramandeep Jhattu (m)

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

The Medical Secretary helps all GPs with their referrals and also insurance reports.  If you have any queries regarding your referral or insurance reports please contact reception and ask to speak with our Medical Secretary.

Reception

Our receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

The receptionists work hard to help our patients.

Community Midwives

The community midwives share the care of all mothers before and after delivery. 

She holds an antenatal clinic on Mondays between 09:30 and 12:30. This is by appointment only and can be booked through the reception . We are constantly fully booked so please keep up your appointment. If the appointment cannot be kept please inform the receptionist as far in advance as possible so that the slot can be allocated to another patient.

Health Visitors

There is an open clinic on every Wednesday mornings between 09:30 to 11:30 at Iqra School, Wexham Road, Slough . Health visitor is concerned with the health of the whole community, having particular responsibility for the under 5’s. Please feel free to contact the health visitor on 01753 635544.

Dietician

We have a dietetic and nutritional clinic on a monthly basis.  Advice and help is given to patients with diabetes, obesity and high cholesterol. 

Appointments to see the dietician are booked after consultation with the doctor.
